Insulated Wire that can be wrapped and soldered?
by scott (admin) Jul 14 2008

We got an email asking for something that you could wrap around a post while insulated and then come back and solder it later. Sounds useful, but I can’t think of anything close to that. Not sure if I’ve got the question right, though…

original email: (from bruce?)

looking for 24 awg specially insulated wire, so you can wrap this insulated wire around a conducting terminal (round) and continue on to other similar terminals, then come around afterwards, and touch teminal (and insulated wire) with hot soldering iron and rosin core solder to achieve good soldered joint between terminal and conductor of wire. Thanks for any help . mfg. name and source would be wonderful… need answers and supply of soon. 7/12/2008
