I just purchased a VOS kit- very excited to start building. What kind of output strength can I expect? I’m hoping to be able to drive a spring reverb, so a hot line level signal would be ideal.

it’s pretty hot, much more than typical audio signals at full volume (be careful with the volume knob!) i think you should be OK. Travis has a spring reverb he’s been using. Maybe we’ll get that in the next video …

Its actually really hot. 2-3X that of a normal line level signal. If you want to drive a spring reverb, you still might want to rig up some pre-amps on either side. I built the pre-amp from this schematic and it works like a charm on my DIY spring reverb:
