Is it possible to drive this thing with other inpts apart from a
sequenzer ? For instance a guitar pickup or a microphone ?

Sincerely,

Yeah, forward this along to him:

The Voice of Saturn is a synth module, rather than an effect module. That being said, it is possible to put a high gain audio input into one of the CV inputs, and play around with various setting to get almost ring modulator effects. You will hear more sound from the VOS as opposed to the input source however. If you take something like a synth signal as input, you just need to turn the synth up loud, if its a guitar or mic, you need to pre-amp the signal before inputting it to the VOS. I made a variant of this with a build-in pre-amp for somebody one time, which kind of turned the whole thing into a crazy distortion, so its something to play around with. Keep in mind, out of the box, its not really supped to be used as a guitar effect, rather a tone generator.

I am working on a small run of mini-booster based overdrive pedals that will be available as put together units soon.
