Even with "no-clean" fluxes, most in the manufacturing industry recommend using as little flux as possible. A fine tipped needle or a flux dispensing pen can be easier to dispense small, targeted amounts than a brush.

The bottle can also be used for other liquids, like isopropyl alcohol. The seal on the cap is sufficient to keep alcohol from evaporating.
