This board supports 32-100 pin QFP, TQFP, PQFP package ICs with 0.5mm pitch. Just push solder in pre-filled troughs towards the leads to solder. Troughs also hold chip in perfect alignment; no microscope necessary.

QFP, or Quad Flat Packages have 4 sides of gull wing leads that stick out. TQFP and PQFP stand for "Thin" and "Plastic", respectively. This board also features 20 places for 0603 packagea (.06x.03"), some thru hole passive components, and 6 ground holes connected to a copper plane on the bottom side.

The solder filled troughs are slightly inset below the surface, which helps to hold the chip leads in perfect position. No microscope is necessary for alignment. The only requirement is a tip slightly smaller than the lead size. Recommended tip temperature is 750 - 800 degrees F. This board is RoHS Compliant with lead-free solder.
